We’re excited to share the latest updates in our upcoming release, focused on improving system performance, enhancing error handling, and resolving critical bugs. Here’s what’s new:
Smarter Error Notification System
To reduce notification fatigue, we’ve improved how error notifications are managed. Previously, errors like:
- Operation timed out after
- 500 Internal Server Error
- 502 Bad Gateway
- 503 Service Unavailable
- cURL error 6: Could not resolve host
would trigger an email notification with every synchronization attempt. Moving forward, you’ll only receive a notification if the same error occurs 10 times or more within an hour. This ensures you’re alerted to persistent issues without being overwhelmed by transient errors.
Enhanced “Continue Process” Action Logic
The logic behind the “Continue Process” action now takes into account the “acknowledge” status. This refinement ensures more accurate and reliable process handling in your workflows.
Bug Fixes
We’ve squished several bugs to enhance system stability and performance:
- ChannelEngine Order Sync Issue: A configuration error that disrupted the order synchronization with ChannelEngine has been fixed.
- Inventory Adjustment Bug: Previously, the automatic inventory adjustment was triggered twice when an order was processed and again during the “continue process” action, causing incorrect stock levels. This has been corrected to adjust inventory only during the initial order processing.
- VAT Validation Bug: VAT validation was mistakenly executed twice due to being called again during the “continue process” action. The validation will now only run during the first processing step.
Brincr Order Synchronization Enhancement
We’ve enhanced the Brincr order synchronization to better handle shipping addresses that differ from the linked customer’s address. This ensures more accurate order fulfillment and shipping information.
These updates aim to improve your Syncjob.io experience by enhancing reliability, reducing unnecessary alerts, and fixing key issues. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to reach out to our support team.
